BUC Online is a collaboration between the Ontario College of Family Physicians, the Centre for Effective Practice, University of Toronto, the Foundation for Medical Practice Education, and the Division of e-Learning Innovation at McMaster University with support from the former Ontario Women's Health Council.
This initiative is designed to bring healthcare providers and medical trainees practical and evidence-based education and tools on key topics related to the investigation and management of benign uterine conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, menorrhagia, chronic pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse.

Endometriosis: A Focus on Diagnosis and Treatment
This interactive module reviews the diagnostic process, including good history taking, physical examination, lab tests, and imaging, as well as, the evidence for various treatments. You'll apply what you've learned about the effectiveness and adverse effects associated with both medical and surgical therapies as you address the concerns of 3 patients presenting with endometriosis.
This module has been accredited by the Ontario College of Family Physicians for 1.5 Mainpro-M1 credits.
Menorrhagia: A Focus on Diagnosis and Treatment
This module is designed to help you formulate a clinical framework for menorrhagia and make an accurate diagnosis using a selected combination of history, examination, and investigation to select the most effective treatments.
